As we celebrate the birth of our nation, everyone at Scott Hose Company wishes you and your family a safe, happy, and memorable Independence Day!

Whether you’re spending the day with family, friends, or enjoying the fireworks, please remember to celebrate responsibly. If you’re using fireworks, follow all local laws, keep a safe distance, have water nearby, and never leave children unattended. If you’re traveling, buckle up, avoid distractions, and never drive impaired.

We are proud to serve our community today and every day. Thank you to all of our members, first responders, military personnel, veterans, and everyone who helps keep our communities strong.

This evening, during our monthly meeting, we had the privilege of acknowledging a genuine, unsung hero! Following a severe, life-threatening motor vehicle accident on May 30th on Lakeland Drive, Tyler Anderson administered crucial, life-saving aid prior to the arrival of fire and emergency medical services personnel, ultimately saving the driver's life. Tyler's actions have been duly recognized by Scott Township Hose Company and the victim's family.

We extend our gratitude for your willingness to intervene in a critical moment and commend you for your selfless and commendable actions. Your bravery and prompt response significantly impacted the outcome, and we are honored to recognize you for your exceptional act of service!

In addition to Tyler, we want to extend our gratitude to Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company, Justus Volunteer Fire Company, Pennsylvania Ambulance, William Walker Hose Company, along with numerous police agencies who assisted during the incident.
