As we prepare for September, pray for the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of our families, friends, and neighbors who do not know Jesus. Ask that our church members would have many divinely appointed opportunities to share their faith.

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect," - 1 Peter 3:15

"Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person." - Colossians 4:5-6

We were grateful to worship with Pastor Dave and the New Life Southern Baptist Church family at their outdoor service last week. Even as they rebuild after the recent flooding, this sweet church continues to worship and trust the Lord.

The flood may have damaged their building, but the Lord is still building his church. Please continue to pray for them in the days ahead.
