📢 Our first annual fishing tournament is POSTPONED! 📢

We didn’t get the turn out we wanted for our first annual fishing tournament, so we’re rescheduling! I’ll be publishing a poll in the next few days to see when everyone is available! Keep an eye out! 🙂

Hey, everyone! 👋

The first Timmy Craig Foundation Annual Fishing Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 23rd from 8am-4pm @ the Winfield Locks & Dam.

I apologize for the short notice - it took longer than anticipated to get the permits from the City of Winfield & the DNR. Now that I know this, I’ll do better in the future! Promise!

Individual: 💰50
Team (2): 💰85
* All ages can fish!
** All proceeds benefit the Timmy Craig Foundation Memorial Scholarship Fund

Prizes will be given out for different categories! You can fish by boat/kayak or on foot.

From there, I’ll forward you the form I need filled out & let you know where to send the payment. 🙂 If you have any troubles, please don’t hesitate to comment below & I’ll do my best to help you out!

My dad graduated from George Washington High School in 1984. He participated in football, baseball, basketball, wrestling, & golf while in school. Up until the day of his passing, he religiously supported GWHS & their sports teams. He would even root against Winfield (where my brother & I went to school) if his Patriots were competing against us.

The annual Timmy Craig Scholarship will be awarded to a George Washington High School student. The first scholarship will be awarded in 2023 - that will allow us adequate time to raise the funds to present to a deserving high school senior who meets all qualifications.

The Timmy Craig Foundation page was created not only to honor Timothy Craig Fielder’s life, but also to inform followers of events that will help raise funds for the annual Timmy Craig Memorial Scholarship fund. It will also allow us other opportunities to give back to the community in various other ways. 🌎♥️
