Spencer Flight & Education Center On April 22, 2011, Dylan, Amy, Chase and Ansley Spencer perished in a tragic plane crash near Topeka, Kan. while flying to visit family for Easter weekend.

Our Mission at SFEC is to actively promote the safety and success of Western Kansas pilots and passengers by providing a local venue for high-quality flight instruction in addition to various educational programs and resources for individuals of all ages. They left behind a town that had been incredibly touched by the enthusiasm and passion they brought to their lives and their extensive involvement in the community. In an effort to honor the Spencer family through the creation of a lasting tribute to the things that Dylan and Amy believed deeply in and a continuation of the amazing influence they had on those around them, friends, family, area pilots and community members have come together in the establishment of the Spencer Flight & Education Center.
