Today was Megan’s last day at the YC. She will be moving to the Sioux Falls area this summer. The kindergarteners have enjoyed getting to know Megan and looked forward to each day with her. Good Luck on your new adventures Megan. We wish you nothing but happiness and success!

Such a tough day saying goodbye and good luck to these 3 Seniors today. We have a Bobcat, a jackrabbit and a coyote! I sure those these 3 stay good friends across the miles ! Thanks for a great year girls !

Senior Spotlight was on our last graduate…Kimmy Kubal!! It has been such a pleasure working with Kimmy the last 2 years and she will definitely be missed !! The kids loved the bomb pops today Kimmy! Thank you for everything 🥰

Youth Center Awards for 2025-26.

This year Eleanor Dangel was awarded the “Guiding Light” award. Eleanor always has a smile on her face and is always including others in our activities. She’s truly someone kids look up to.

The award for “Mentor” of the year went to Naomi Auch. On a daily basis, Naomi’s first words to me are “Is there anything I can help you with?” This young lady makes it a point to help everyone out. The kids always know she’s there if they need her.

This year we awarded a new award. “Role Model” of the year. Without a doubt, I knew Austen Janak would get this award. She is such a kind girl. She always makes it a point to include the youngest kids in all our games. I will miss her so much next year, but I’m excited to watch her grow even more in the coming years.

Senior Spotlight! Today was all about Ryleigh 🤩. Ryleigh was a YC member way back when! I gave her the nickname of “Smiles” because no matter what you said to her she just smiled. 12 years later, she still has the same happy personality! We will miss you Ry and wish you nothing but the best!
