Closing out 2025 with gratitude for all the people who have supported our mission with their time, talent, and treasure! The Friends were thrilled to support the Power of Prevention on December 7th - providing materials, financial support, and volunteers at the event!

The FOSF is pleased to announce the winners of the 2025 Scholarship: Addison Swan and Jake Linnell! Both students volunteered on community prevention projects during their time at SHS, including as Youth Ambassadors in the Free Fun Friday program at Gates. Miss Galvin was pleased to attend Scholarship Night to present the awards - along with our famous Scituate Beach Towels!

Caregivers and Students of the Class of 2026, It’s Prom Season! That means it’s time for the Annual Pre-Prom Presentation with Scituate FACTS and the Scituate Police Department! You are ALL invited to attend this important session to learn about your responsibilities related to the Massachusetts Social Host Law, tips from other parents about keeping kids safe, and some encouraging statistics on substance use among this class. 👏 Event starts at 7:00pm in the SHS Library 🎬 Caregivers and kids in attendance will receive a free raffle ticket 🎟️ Prizes include: Spray Tan from Danielle Keefe Artistry (3); Corsage and buttoniere set from Flowers & Festivities; Gift Card to Lash Lady Hanover; and Free Prom Tix (2) from !

The Friends of Scituate FACTS is pleased to offer two scholarships again this year! The opportunity is open to any student graduating from Scituate High School - as well as Scituate residents attending other schools. Application deadline is tomorrow March 12th!
