Bring the whole family to FLFF!

We are excited to have FLFF for Kids return for its second year at the Fat Lamb Fiber Festival. FLFF for Kids is a family friendly activity zone where the fiber arts can be experienced through hands on exploration.

FLFF for kids is held Saturday, May 16th from 10 am - 3 pm.

Enjoy activities including:

Wet Felted Butterfly Craft: Make your own butterfly by felting wool. This is a fun interactive craft that has been a kid favorite for many years at FLFF.

Coloring Station: Learn fun facts about sheep and wool while enjoying coloring pages and activity sheets. Thank you to the Oregon Women For Agriculture and Ag in the Classroom for making this station possible.

Sheep to Shawl Sensory Table: Explore the steps it takes to turn freshly shorn fleece into a wearable garment. This touch and feel table lets children explore the changes a fleece goes through and gives them the chance to try a few steps themselves.

Remember there are lots of other fun family friendly activities happening at the Linn County Lamb and Wool Fair including the parade, petting zoo, family games and more. For more information on these activities visit lambfair.com

FAQ: Is there food on site?

Yes! If you are coming to FLFF and don’t want to interrupt your fiber day to leave and get food, we have a food truck on site.

Tasty Harvest Creations is joining us for the first time this year as our on-site food truck. The attached photo is their menu.

If they don’t have something that you want or you would like to explore the other events happening in town, which we strongly encourage, head down to the main fairgrounds located 3 blocks East of FLFF. The main fairgrounds hosts a wider variety of food vendors for you to choose from.
