Thank you so much to all of our donors including the ones who wish to stay anonymous and those who have used the drop boxes throughout the community.
-to Gary and Dorothy Sherman for their generous monetary donation
-to the First Baptist Church Thrift Shoppe in Glens Falls for the sizeable monetary donation where every month a large portion of their earnings are given back to the community consisting of 25 elementary schools, 23 food pantries and 24 additional charities in the tri-county area
-to Charlton Hathaway for his continued monthly donations made through the Regional Food Bank
-to Ronalee Myers for the donation of a case of canned corn

Since we have had several requests to update our wish list, here it is!

SAFER will be closed on Monday, October 12 in observance of the holiday and will reopen on Friday, October 16.

Just a gentle reminder:
While we appreciate any and all donations, please refrain from leaving donations outside of the pantry when we are not open. Canned goods and other pantry items are susceptible to freezing/heat/wet conditions making them unstable and in most cases, unusable. If we are not open when you want to drop items off, there is a drop box just inside the doors of Town Hall. There are also drop boxes at The American Legion and the Schuylerville Post Office.
SAFER gladly accepts all unopened pantry items as well as paper products and personal hygiene items, but does not accept clothing, shoes, household items or toys as donations.
Please donate these types of items to The Way (clothes and shoes only), across from Fort Hardy Park, Second Hand Rose, 116 Broad Street or use the blue donation bins in Byron’s parking lot.
Thanks so much for your assistance.
