The Stanzel Family Foundation envisions an engaged inclusive community that promotes and inspires philanthropy, love of humanity, through recognition and celebration of people who are living the definition through their generosity, sharing and kindness. To accomplish this, the Stanzel Family Foundation, Inc.:
- provides grants to entities that share the Foundation's mission
- awards scholarships to local high students and professionals
- supports a health education and screening program: Healthy High Healthy Choices
- supports the Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum which strives to preserve the creative genius and talent of Victor and Joe Stanzel and promote an appreciation of flying through educational programs and projects. Through Victor and Joe’s example, it seeks to enlighten and inspire all people, young and old to follow their dreams.
- supports the Schulenburg / Weimar Area Parents as Teachers Program which provides the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life.

We’re excited to welcome Summer Livingston to the Stanzel Family Foundation Board of Directors as our first student Associate Board Member and youngest-ever board member.

A senior at Schulenburg ISD, Summer brings the voice and perspective of the next generation directly to the table while gaining firsthand experience in community leadership and philanthropy.

Her appointment reflects our commitment to engaging young people not just as the future of our communities, but as important voices in the work happening today.

Through the Texas Community Partner Program, Help Me Grow Fayette-Colorado and Family Resource Center can provide FREE assistance with applying for benefits through YourTexasBenefits.com, including programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, CHIP, and more. As a Level 3 Community Partner, we can assist in the application and renewal process, manage your ongoing case, and help to reset your password, if needed.

Do you want to complete your applications on your own, but need access to a computer and/or printer to do so? No worries, we can help with that too!

Our goal is to make the application process a little less overwhelming and help connect individuals and families with resources available to them.
