Forrest Goetsch Memorial Run Because Forrest’s life here on earth had such a profound impact we wanted to celebrate his life and honor his memory in a permanent fashion.

Funds from this run are used to support Forrest Goetsch Charities an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to offer five $1000 Scholarships at local high schools Forrest Goetsch Charities has been established in memory of our 14-year old son who died unexpectedly during warm-ups at cross-country practice on September 21, 2009. ation, is dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievement in our communities by youth and or organizations who have helped others through difficult times or who have personally overcome challenges in their lives.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out inquiring as to the status of the 2022 Forrest’s Run.

As you can imagine, there is a great deal of advance planning that goes into an event like this. We are extremely proud of the high quality event we have put forward for you over the past 10 years.

Unfortunately with the uncertainty that still surrounded us with the corona virus last year, we were not able to complete the planning process for 2022.

As a result, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Run scheduled for June 18, 2022.

We will miss you, but mark your calendars for June 17, 2023 and stay tuned for more information. Until then, please take care of yourself and one another during these changing times.
