Upper Lehigh Lions Club The Lions Club International connects 1.3 million men and women in over 200 countries and regions wh Most of our fundraising revolves around food and fun.

Locally, we help provide funds and resources for many organizations and individuals in the Lehigh Valley through our various fundraising efforts. In the Summer we hold the Annual Roar with the Lions Festival and Craft Show, sell food from our trailer at the Schnecksville Fair and prepare a Chicken Bar-B-Q Dinner fundraiser. In the Fall our members again man the food trailer for all the home footba

ll games at Parkland High School. The Winter brings our members out for monthly breakfast fundraisers held at the Schnecksville Fire Company. With the coming of Spring we celebrate the running of the ponies with our version of the Schnectucky Derby. Throughout the year our members serve food at various community auctions and events. All the profits from our fundraisers are returned to those in need within our community.

This month 's meeting was led by 1st Vice President Lion Keith Bloss. Mark Pennington from The Valor Clinic Foundation spoke to us about the great things the Foundation does for our veterans. And Chief Chris Greb thanked us for purchasing a thermal camera for the Laury's Fire Department.
