Trexler Nature Preserve Group Trail Run (T-Rex) Group Trail Runs Trexler Nature Preserve. Join a monthly group trail run at Trexler Nature Preserve. All paces welcome and no one will be left behind.

The trails offer a challenging and scenic 8.5 mile border loop with opportunity for shorter or longer runs. The trails border the Trexler Game Preserve and cross through the Lehigh Valley Zoo property. There is a mix of old farm road and single track trails with panoramic views of the Lehigh Valley. There are also views of American Bison and Elk in bordering fields. Great place to get in some chal

lenging hills and take in some amazing local natural scenery. All runs will meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8:30 AM in the Trexler Environmental Center parking lot off Orchard Road.*

If you plan to attend one of the monthly runs please RSVP on the events tab on this page. Any question should be posted on this pages wall.

*Directions to the Trexler Nature Preserve Trexler Environmental Center Parking Lot. From Rt, 22 take Rt. 309 north for 4.7 miles to Old Packhouse Rd. turn left and go 0.8 miles to Orchard Rd. turn right and go 0.35 miles to the parking lot on the left.

There is a prescribed burn 🔥 scheduled for Monday 11/20 starting at 10am. The entire North range will be closed Monday and Tuesday and parts may have to be closed Wednesday.

It’s Burn unit #1. Please see the attached map.

Hello Facebook world. Just a heads up. There is a new reroute on the border trail in the South range. Its on Orchard hill and it’s a bit slick now as it hasn’t been worn in yet. There are also a lot of small flush cut stumps so, keep your eyes open! Have fun out there!!
