On Armed Forces Dayโ€”Saturday, May 16, 2026โ€”the Strength and Love Foundation proudly joins the nation in honoring the men and women who serve in the United States military.

Armed Forces Day was first established in 1949 by President Harry S. Truman, following the unification of the Army, Navy, and Air Force under the newly created Department of Defense. The first official celebration took place on May 20, 1950, and it has since been observed annually on the third Saturday in May.

The snow didnโ€™t stop the 2nd Annual Beef, Beer, & Bullseye Bingo - ๐Ÿšจ SOLD OUT ๐Ÿšจ from happening.

Despite a serious snowstorm hitting us the morning of the event, we made the call to move forward โ€” and we are so grateful we did. While the weather kept a few people away, more than 225+ incredible supporters still showed up to stand with us, have fun, and rally around our mission.

Because of your generosity, we raised meaningful funds that will directly support homeless veterans, disadvantaged children, and local families in need throughout the Lehigh Valley. That impact belongs to all of you.

A massive thank you to our amazing sponsors, volunteers, board members, and event team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event a success โ€” especially under less-than-ideal conditions. Your commitment to Strength & Love truly makes all the difference.
