The Schiller Park FOP Lodge 170 will again be selling shirts in support of our women and men in uniform. We will again have long and short sleeve(crew and women v-neck) versions in gray and black colors, sizes ranging from Small to XX-Large.

Men and women's short sleeve - $25
Unisex long sleeve - $30

The shirts can now be purchased in the Schiller Park Police Department lobby Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm. At this time we are only able to accept cash or checks for the shirt sales. Checks can be made payable to the Schiller Park FOP Lodge 170.

While we all track Santa through his flight tonight, the members of the FOP Lodge 170 Schiller Park would like to give a special thanks to Santa Claus for taking time from his busy day at the North Pole to visit everybody from the naughty/nice list all the way to our tallest at our schools from the Schiller Park School District 81.
Hope all of our students and staff enjoyed the special visit as much as we did 🎅🏽

Last year was a huge success and this year people are already asking about it!

We are again inviting all of our amazing supporters to stop by our local Dunkin' located at 4111 Mannheim Rd. Schiller Park, IL 60176 on Friday, May 16th between 5:00 am - 12:00 pm. Get your free donut with every donation made and merchandise for purchase with all proceeds going to the Special Olympics Illinois.
Last year's merchandise went early and given the tremendous amount of support we expect the same, so be sure to join us early in the day to ensure your Torch Run merchandise. The FOP Lodge 170 Schiller Park extends our deepest condolences to the Illinois State Police Department for the loss of Trooper Clay M. Carns #6512. Please keep Trooper Carns' family, friends, and the Illinois State Police Troopers in your thoughts as they go through this tragic loss.

Early this morning, Illinois State Police (ISP) Director Brendan F. Kelly announced the death of Trooper Clay M. Carns.

Around 9:42 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, Trooper Carns was outside of his squad car removing debris from a lane on southbound I-55 north of Blodgett Road near Channahon when he was struck by a passing vehicle. Trooper Carns was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, where at approximate 10:45 p.m., he succumbed to his injuries. The crash is still under investigation and additional information is not available at this time.

“This is a sad day for the Illinois State Police as we mourn the death of Trooper Clay M. Carns who was killed while serving the people of Illinois and working to keep our roadways safe,” said ISP Director Kelly. “Please keep Trooper Carns, his family, loved ones, and his ISP family in your thoughts, prayers, and hearts during this most difficult time.”

Trooper Carns was 35 years old and served 11 years as an officer with ISP. He was assigned to Troop 3. He is survived by his wife Meghan, children Gray and Ally, and parents Patti and Danny Carns.

Our officers at the Schiller Park Police Department join our brothers and sisters in blue at the Oak Park Police Department in mourning the tragic loss of Oak Park Detective Allan Reddins, who was killed in the line of duty this morning while responding to the call of an armed offender. Our condolences go out to Detective Reddins’ family, friends, and colleagues as they go through this dreadful loss. Please keep Reddins' family and the Oak Park Police Department in your thoughts during this difficult time.

The Toys for Tots program is underway! The FOP Lodge 170 Schiller Park is asking for your support in spreading the joy of Christmas by helping us collect new and unwrapped toys. Our collection bins have been placed in our police department lobby as well as our Village Hall, both located at 9526 W. Irving Park Road. The final date for contributions will be December 15th, the boxes will be collected at approximately 1pm on that Sunday.

The FOP Lodge 170 Schiller Park is happy to announce that the shirts have arrived and are ready for pick up. The shirts can be picked up in the Schiller Park Police Department lobby Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm. Our amazing Records Clerks have kindly volunteered to distribute the orders. If you placed an order on Facebook the shirts are under your profile name. At this time we are only able to accept cash or check (payable to the Schiller Park FOP Lodge 170).
