TEXAS VOTER REGISTRATION ALERT

Texas election officials have discovered that an unknown number of voter registration applications submitted through the Texas Department of Public Safety’s online driver’s-license portal were not sent to county voter registrars for processing. State officials say the affected records are now being sent to counties, but the backlog is arriving less than two weeks before the October 5 voter registration deadline for the November 3, 2026 election.

If you used DPS online services to register to vote, update your address, renew your driver’s license, or update your state ID, check your voter registration status now. Do not assume everything went through automatically.

The Texas Secretary of State’s office says that if a voter registered through DPS before the deadline but does not appear on the rolls, that voter may cast a provisional ballot. Election officials can verify the DPS transaction, and if the registration was valid and timely, the provisional ballot can be counted.

✅ Check your registration status
✅ Confirm your name and address are correct
✅ Make corrections before October 5, 2026 if needed
✅ Keep any DPS confirmation or documentation you may have
✅ If you believe you registered but are not on the rolls, contact your county voter registrar

Early Voting: October 19–30, 2026
Election Day: November 3, 2026

This is a good time to tell your family, friends, neighbors, and community: CHECK YOUR REGISTRATION. DON’T WAIT UNTIL ELECTION DAY.

🇺🇸 SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 — WE REMEMBER

Twenty-five years later, we pause to remember a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the service members who answered the call in the years that followed, and the families who have carried the weight of September 11 for a quarter century.

We also remember the courage, compassion, and unity Americans showed one another in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Today is more than an anniversary. It is a day to honor, remember, and reflect.

May we never forget those we lost.
May we never forget those who served.
May we never forget the families left behind.
And may we continue striving to be a nation worthy of their sacrifice.

Today we pause. Tomorrow we carry forward.

🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
