I hope this message finds you well. On behalf of our lodge, we are proud to announce the opening of our 2026 Mirabeau B. Lamar Award of Excellence scholarship program.
This $1,000 scholarship has been awarded for decades in honor of Mirabeau B. Lamar, a respected Mason and strong advocate for education and community development. This award is designed to recognize and support high school seniors who have demonstrated resilience in overcoming personal challenges and who embody perseverance, character, and service to others.
The Mirabeau B. Lamar Award of Excellence is not intended solely for academic achievement, but rather for students who have faced adversity, pushed forward, and grown through their experiences. These are the individuals we believe will shape and strengthen the future of our communities.

**Attention: People affected by Government Shutdown**
This Saturday at our Randolph Masonic Lodge Family Day and Fish Fry, we’re adding something meaningful to support those impacted by the government shutdown.
Any local government employee or Active Duty service member currently affected can receive up to 2 plates at no cost. To ensure this support goes to those it’s intended for, a quick reservation form (link below) and simple proof of current employment/service will be required at pickup. (An ID badge or similar is fine.)
How to Reserve:
To streamline everything and keep all resources in one place, I’ve temporarily updated my business Linktree to support this initiative.
Use the link below to access the reservation form.
***Please note: ***The form will close at 12:00 PM this Wednesday*** so we can prepare properly.***
Additional Impact:
• Give Blood – Support Your Family: South Texas Blood & Tissue will be onsite with the Blood Mobile. If you donate blood, you’ll receive an H-E-B gift card, which can directly help you and your family during this time. Please use the link below to register for the blood drive (preferred), walk ups welcome.
Ways the Community Can Support:
• Sponsor a Meal: A PayPal link is available below if you’d like to help cover meals for affected families.
If you or someone you know has been affected, this gesture is for you. And if you’re not affected, sharing this post helps just as much by getting the word to the right people.
Thank you for your time,
Chris
