Assalamu Alaikum dear community members,

We would like to inform the community that Ramadan will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18th, Insha’Allah.

Due to planned renovation work at the MUNA Center, there will be no Taraweeh congregation at our center this Ramadan. Our masjid will remain open for five daily prayers. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.

As we welcome this blessed month, we ask Allah to accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds, and to grant our community peace, unity, and barakah throughout Ramadan.

Narrated Ibn Al-Musaiyab (RA): Abu Hurairah (RA) said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'A prayer performed in congregation is twenty-five times more superior in reward to a prayer performed by a single person. The angels of the night and the angels of the day are assembled at the time of the Fajr (Morning) prayer." Abu Huraira added, "If you wish, you can recite: 'Verily! The recitation of the Qur'an in the early dawn (Morning prayer) is ever witnessed (attended by the angels of the day and the night).' (17.78)

Alhamdulillah, the new MUNA CENTER OF ALBANY , Islamic Center is a beautiful blessing for our community. The environment is peaceful, welcoming, and spiritually uplifting. The management and volunteers are doing a wonderful job keeping everything organized and clean. The programs for children, youth, and adults are inspiring and beneficial. May Allah reward everyone who contributed to building and maintaining this center, and may it continue to be a place of unity, learning, and worship for generations to come. 🤲
