Now both girls and boys can join Scouting with the Boy Scouts of America! The VFW Post #357 charters two great troops - one for boys (357B) and one for girls (357G)- that operate independent of each other under the same great BSA program. We have a long tradition of helping boys learn and grow through Scouting to become men. In 2019, Scouts BSA Troop 357G formed as a "sister" troop for girls to

join the BSA program. Now, girls have the opportunity to learn and grow into strong, confident women through Scouting. Scouting's programs focus on developing character, citizenship, personal fitness, all while having fun, learning new skills and experiencing new adventures. Troops 357 both follow the principals of Scouting. Our troops are Scout led and Scout run with meetings and activities that continue year round, including the summer! If your child is between the ages of 11 to 17 or is at least age 10 and in 5th grade, then he or she is old enough to join. We welcome you and your child to come to one of our meetings - meet the Scouts, meet the parents and see if we are the right fit for your family.
