🌼 Did you know that the small bees you often see resting on flowers in the evening are usually old or sick bees?
When a bee feels its strength waning—whether due to age or illness—it doesn't return to the hive at the end of the day.
Instead, it stays outside, sitting quietly on a flower, and spends its last night there.
If it sees the sun again the next morning, it may gather nectar or pollen one last time—not for itself, but for the colony.
Because a bee never wants to die in the hive. It instinctively senses that its death would burden its sisters.
🐝 The next time you see an exhausted bee on a flower, take a moment.
Perhaps it is its final journey.
And perhaps that's precisely when it deserves your silent thanks—for a lifetime of dedication.
