We had a wonderful turnout to our activities at today's Bedford's River Rendevouz. We are grateful the storm held off until later. In honor of America 250 and in tribute to the eight Revolutionary War Patriots buried in the Schellsburg Cemetery, our Schellsburg & Old Log Church Historical Society is offering these Old Log Church replicas for a donation of $25. Here are some pictures & collages by Michelle Bucolo from today's lovely Memorial Day ceremony at The Old Log Church in Schellsburg, sponsored by the Schellsburg & Old Log Church Historical Society & Schellsburg VFW Post 4440. The Bedford Honor Guard & Fishertown Band were there as well. A copy of the program listing speakers as well as videos from the ceremony will be shared sometime on Memorial Day. Thanks to all who attended & participated in any way as we honored the fallen heroes. (Some may be out of order.)

A few members of Schellsburg & Old Log Church Historical Society attended the America 250 PA Bedford County kick off event this morning. Couple shout outs! Michael Stiles was one of the speakers, as Commissioner. Luisa Stiles' daughter, Morgan Young, was the artist for Bedford County's bell.
