It was a huge pleasure visiting DMG MORI for the 2026 Japan Company Tour. Thank you for your hospitality and incredible tour. Every year, Schaumburg Oyanokai シャンバーグ親の会 introduces 7th and 8th grade students in District 211 to the corporate world. This year, students learned how important machine tool equipment is for industrial automation, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and how it helps to bring applications to life in so many industries including aerospace, automotive, medical and beyond.

The 18th Annual Japanese Culture Night was a huge success with an amazing turnout in Schaumburg. It was so great to see everyone again. ✨👍

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make it possible along with Kokyō Taiko Chicago, Chicago Koto Group, Brazilian Top Team Schaumburg Jiu-Jitsu, and Miyamoto Shidokan Karate. 👏👏👏

Without a strong partnership with School District 54 and Thomas Dooley Elementary School dooleyschool54 and Jane Addams Junior High addamscrusaders, it would not have been possible. 👊

The Chicago Japanese Club volunteered to offer their amazing Kakigori shaved ice treats again, and we were honored to have delicious food items from Bakery Crescent and Good Food Works. ❤️
