Crew 392's last meeting before we go our separate ways for the next couple of days. The girls are joining different patrols made up Scouts from over 100 different countries and exploring Portugal on 1 of 100 different paths.

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of a tragic incident involving the apparent drowning death of a 15-year-old CIT (Counselor in Training) at Owasippe’s Camp Blackhawk on July 16th.
No other campers or staff were involved or were in danger at any time.
Emergency protocols were followed, law enforcement was called to the scene, and Council leadership and camp staff are cooperating in the ongoing investigation.
We are also taking appropriate measures, including providing grief counseling, in support of the family, campers, and camp staff.
Please join us in supportive thoughts for the family, fellow campers, staff, and our extended Scouting family.

Ben, who has been working for the Arlington Heights Scout Shop for 4 years, is leaving us. He will be moving to Minnesota to manage the Mounds View Scout Shop!

Registration closes Friday, October 4th at 5pm.

Keep outdoor activities and camping alive all 12 months of the year! Our Train the Trainer program will provide you with the knowledge and materials to share knowledge and skills learned to conduct cold weather activities and camping within your units. Learn about Cold Weather Travel, Sleep Systems, Equipment and Tents, Cooking and Nutrition, Snow Shoes, Cross Country Skiing and Outdoor Cold Weather Games.
