Good morning, Run to Read participants! 🌧️ While we don’t have the sunny skies we hoped for, at this point, the events are still happening this morning!
Here is the latest schedule and important updates:
🕒 7:00 a.m. – The gym opens for packet pickup and race day registration.
🏃♂️ 8:00 a.m. – Kids races are ON.
🏃♀️ 9:00 a.m. – 5K is ON.
🚶♂️ 9:15 a.m. – The Walk is ON.
(Note: These events will proceed unless there is lightning at the time of the race. We will make those calls as needed).
❌ CANCELED: The mascot races will not take place today.
Not planning to participate in the rain?
You can still pick up your T-shirt and medal until 9:00 a.m. at Dirksen School. If you already picked up your packet on Thursday or Friday, you are still welcome to stop by just to grab your medal! 🏅
As a reminder, there is no rain date for this event. Thank you so much for your donation to the Foundation—your support goes directly toward helping financially struggling families in our community. We appreciate you! 💙🍎
