🙋‍♀️ Call for Volunteers!

Make a difference in your community by helping job seekers prepare for success! The CAI-Illinois Community Relations Committee and Business Partner Council are looking for 2 volunteers to assist at the Home of the Sparrow – Neighbors Helping Neighbors Job Fair on Friday, August 29.

As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to:
✅ Counsel job seekers on resume and interview best practices
✅ Review and help edit resumes
✅ Conduct mock interviews to build confidence and skills

Volunteers will be asked to complete a short application form before participating.

Help Us Support Neighbors Helping Neighbors! 👔👗

The CAI-Illinois Community Relations Committee and Business Partner Council are collecting professional clothing to support the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Job Fair. Donations will be accepted July 27–August 21 and may include men’s and women’s professional or business-casual clothing, suits, blazers, dress pants, dresses, skirts, dress shoes, purses, and accessories.

Donations can be dropped off at the CAI-Illinois office on Wednesdays and Thursdays only:

You may also donate at a Home of the Sparrow thrift store location. Find the nearest location here: https://hosparrow.org/thrift-stores/
