First of all, that's another Septemberfest in the history books! Thank you Schaumburg and Schaumburg visitors for attending this year's Septemberfest! With storms affecting Independence Day festivals, I'm sure it was nice to get at least one festival in this year.

Second, because we CPAAAS members either work or live in the area, we would like to extend our gratitude to 1.) the Village of Schaumburg and its various departments for their help with providing Septemberfest to the area and getting the grounds set up and manned, 2.) the Septemberfest Committee & their volunteers for the work and logistical planning required to run such a fest 3.) to all of the vendors and performers who helped us enjoy the fest when we were not working, and 4.) to the first responders on-site for not only helping to ensure everyone's safety but for also making yourselves accessible to the public - to answer their questions and to provide helpful information. It was great working along side all of you as we showed how wonderful Schaumburg is!

Another great day at Septemberfest yesterday! Once again, thanks to all of the residents and visitors who help make for a successful fest - for all of the crafters and vendors, for the village of Schaumburg, and for our organization! One more day to enjoy the Summer holiday weekend before we start thinking about Fall. Let's finish strong!

To all our Septemberfest volunteers: A Huge "THANK YOU!" in advance for your invaluable help this weekend! Though you will be representing CPAAAS, as you wear your uniform polo or t-shirt this weekend, remember that the logo on your shirt also means you will be representing the Schaumburg Police Department AND the Village of Schaumburg. Consider that an honor and privilege. We trust you will give your best, but as you do don't also forget this:

HAVE FUN!

Thanks again and see you there!

Don't forget where to park. 😉

While you're at Septemberfest, feel free to stop by the Schaumburg Police Tent to meet and speak with officers and our volunteers, to purchase items that go towards Special Olympics, to pick up some helpful information, and to see what activities and prizes are available for you or your kids. The tent is typically located between the Al Larson Cultural Center and what will be the brand new Municipal building.

YES! There is yet a 3rd way you can show your support to the community and police department! Consider purchasing a meal (or meals) from us on Labor Day 9/7 during the fest's Not For Profit day. Look for us just inside the Food Tent right across from the Al Larson Cultural Center. As in previous years our volunteers will be working hard to serve up delicious sandwiches. 😋

As a reminder you can check out septemberfest.org for more information on this year's Septemberfest.
