ICA's New Membership Coordinator!
Amie York, MA, NCC

Amie York brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, hospitality, and, most recently, counseling to her role as ICA's new Membership Coordinator. She believes her life's work is connecting people to purpose and is consistently drawn to the intersection of care and structure to do so. Amie has her M.A in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College and enjoys working across the lifespan in private practice in Wheaton, IL. Outside the therapy room and work, Amie enjoys hosting dinner parties, and going on evening walks. She also finds life’s joys in brightly painted nails, doing (literally anything) with people, and she loves, the sea, sun, and sand, tending to growing things, a well-timed pun, and showing up to my own weekly therapy.

On National Whistleblower Day, IDFPR has launched a new online reporting page, giving industry professionals a faster, more direct way to report suspected misconduct to the Division of Financial Institutions.

The dedicated reporting page offers a secure, streamlined process for submitting complaints, accessing guidance, and understanding available protections for those who come forward. This modernization strengthens IDFPR’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and early detection of risks within Illinois’ financial services sector.

We Have Officially Moved!
The boxes are unpacked, the coffee maker is plugged in, and we are officially settled into our new home!

After many wonderful years in DeKalb, we have officially relocated. We are so grateful for our time there and for all the memories made, but we are thrilled to begin this next chapter!

Growth is rarely a linear, comfortable process. 🦋

When we look at someone’s healing, it’s easy to admire the final bloom while overlooking the quiet, difficult work it took to get there. Growth requires letting go of old versions of ourselves, sitting with discomfort, and trusting the process.
