💛 Cancer Survivor Month reminds us that survivorship is more than "ringing the bell".

It includes healing. It includes rebuilding confidence. Amanda is a survivor!! After facing and beating cancer, she has become a volunteer for MyBFF - a survivor helping other survivors!!!

If you love a survivor, tag them below. Let them know they're not just a patient. They're a Friend we're proud to stand next to. 💜

It includes learning how to live again after life has been interrupted by cancer.

Strength doesn’t always look loud.

Sometimes it looks like showing up for treatment. Sometimes it looks like trying again after a hard week. Sometimes it looks like surviving.

D.S. is a Survivor. Had oral cancer several years ago. Came back recently and had a grueling 14 hour surgery to replace his jaw bone, which was damaged by the cancer. He recently reported that there is no evidence of cancer. He now continues his recovery and we continue to support him and his family.

💛 June is Cancer Survivor Month, and today we honor one of our Friends whose journey through treatment required courage, patience, and strength that inspired everyone around them.

J.B. has beat breast cancer once and is fighting through it again. She has been an active supporter of this foundation since before she had cancer the first time and she will continue to support the foundation as she gets past this current cancer journey. Her journey is our journey and we are blessed to be able to fight along side here and her family.

Survivorship is not just about finishing treatment. It is about rebuilding, healing, and continuing forward after life has been changed.

To every survivor in our community: we see you, we celebrate you, and we are grateful for the example you set.
