Troop 417 Scouts had a record food collection from around Heidelberg Township yesterday. The typical full trailer spilled over into also filling a truck bed. All donations went to Lebanon County Christian Ministries to help local families in need. Thank you to the Schaefferstown community for its great response to this scouting tradition.

Saturday, Schaefferstown Troop 417 did their “good turn daily” gathering and loading donations put out by the residents of Schaefferstown and Kleinfeltersville for the Scouting for Food annual collection. All donations went to Lebanon County Christian Ministries. The last photo is the entire load combined with Myerstown Troop 420. A full truck and trailer. Thank you, everyone.

This year the ELCO area Memorial Day service was held in Schaefferstown and the troop assisted with the program. Great job scouts!
