The Schaefferstown Volunteer Fire Company and Carnival Committee have made the tough decision to end our long-standing carnival. It is with sincere regret to say that we will not be providing any entertainment this year.
Many elements have played a part in our decision. But as a volunteer fire company, we must maintain focus on fundraisers that benefit and support the needs of our department to keep our communities protected and safe.
The Schaefferstown Fire Company Carnival Committee would like to thank all of the volunteers over the years, and in some cases, a lifetime. Their efforts strengthened our community and helped provided a family-focused event for thousands upon thousands of people to enjoy.
We would like to acknowledge and thank the seemingly endless list of artists and entertainers that have graced our stage.
Lastly, we would like to thank you, our guests. Your involvement and support over the years have helped maintain our volunteer fire company for nearly 100 years. And for that, we are grateful.
