Scarsdale New Residents Club We are a social club established to provide support and friendship to both new and old residents in Scarsdale Welcome to the Scarsdale New Residents Club!

Members are welcome to involve themselves in as many or as few activities as they like. We meet for an informal coffee morning the first Friday of each month at 9:30-11:30 am. Think of us as Scarsdale’s social club. Yes, our name says New Residents, but don't let it fool you. Today we’re a club for anyone in Scarsdale who wants more friends, more fun and more connection right here in town.

Coffee mornings, Mah jongg, book club, cooking nights, hiking, ladies nights out and plenty more.

The new club year kicks off this Friday with Coffee Morning and it’s the perfect time to come see for yourself. It’s free, it’s relaxed and there’s no membership required to check us out.

Whether you arrived this summer or have called Scarsdale home for decades, you’re invited!

Join us on Monday, May 18 for a visit to .beacon - one of the best places near New York to experience contemporary art without noise, crowds, or overstimulation. A stylishly designed space featuring major names in contemporary art.

Afterward, we’re booked for lunch at before heading back to Scarsdale.

Channel your inner Warhol, Lichtenstein, or Haring for a bold, splashy morning of Pop Art painting — bright canvases, graphic lines, big imagination, and absolutely no rules. Glitter and candy included, naturally.

Each young artist will take their masterpiece home at the end of the session.

Parents: please dress kids accordingly… paint will happen.

Our WALKING GROUP, by the way, has quietly outgrown its name. What began as a few measured laps has evolved into something far more expansive - part hiking collective, part low-key fitness ritual, part ongoing exploration of beaches, parks, and those in-between places you only notice when you’re not in a rush.

There are mornings that feel like workouts, and others that unfold more like small discoveries. And, almost without trying, it has become a space for real friendship - the kind that builds gradually, step by step.

We visited the Japanese Society for the Kawai Kanjiro exhibition - subtle, poetic, quietly powerful. Experiencing it together with our club made it even more special!
