The resistance is real.

The resistance is real.

BREAKING: A week of wins for Democrats! Eight ways the resistance hit back hard on Trump in seven days.

While Trump and his regime keep trying to bulldoze democracy, the resistance is racking up real victories, and veteran journalist Scott Dworkin is making sure we don’t miss a single one.

Here are eight wins from just the past seven days that prove the fight against Trumpism is far from over and the Democrats are gaining ground:

1. Senate referee kills Trump’s billion-dollar ballroom heist – Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough ruled that Republicans broke the rules trying to sneak $1 billion, including $220 million for Trump’s new ballroom/bunker, into a Secret Service bill. Trump reportedly demanded she be fired. She’s still standing. Trump lost his billion.

2. Two Jan. 6 officers sue to shut down Trump’s $1.8 billion slush fund – two Capitol Police heroes Daniel Hodges and Harry Dunn are fighting to block the taxpayer-funded payoff to the rioters who attacked them. Their lead lawyer? The Jan. 6 prosecutor who quit over Trump’s pardons.

3. Trump’s secret tax shield collapses – Acting AG Todd Blanche tried to quietly declare the IRS could never investigate Trump or his businesses again. Sen. Ron Wyden caught it immediately and called it invalid. The scheme died before lunch.

4. Another ICE agent charged in Minnesota – rogue agent Christian Castro was charged with felony assault after allegedly shooting a Venezuelan immigrant through his front door and lying about it. This is the second ICE agent in Minnesota charged this year.

5. Nine prosecutors form the “FAFO” coalition – district attorneys across the country are banding together to warn Trump’s goons that their badges won’t protect them from intimidating voters. Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner made it crystal clear: mess with voters and you’ll “find out what ‘find out’ means.”

6. NAACP and Congressional Black Caucus hit the South – The NAACP called for a boycott of eight gerrymandering Southern states by Black athletes, while the CBC helped kill a bill college sports leagues desperately wanted. Message delivered.

7. Thousands march in Mississippi for voting rights – demonstrators marched past Gov. Tate Reeves’s mansion after he attacked Rep. Bennie Thompson for registering Black voters. Thompson fired back: “Between now and November, you better hold on.”

8. Keisha Lance Bottoms wins big in Georgia – the former Atlanta mayor won the Democratic gubernatorial primary outright with 57 percent of the vote. She could become the first Black woman elected governor in American history this November.

Eight wins in seven days. Trump’s illicit regime is loud, but the resistance is louder, and we are only getting started in foiling Trump and making him miserable time and again, until we send him packing the right way – through the ballot box.

If these victories give you hope and fire you up to keep fighting, like and share this post.
