Banners can be ordered directly from the company and will be shipped as soon as the payment is confirmed made to the Post. They can be purchased at any time of year but will only be hung each year prior to memorial Day. Any veteran is eligible to have a banner hung in the Town of Scarborough.

Despite the rain and the parade having to be cancelled. The American Legion along with much support from the Auxiliary of the Legion, Sons of the American Legion, the USMC, the Scarborough Fire Department Honor Guard, the Boy Scouts of America and the memorial speech from Scarborough’s own Fire Chief at the Maine Veteran’s Home flags were placed throughout the cemeteries in town and services were conducted Monday morning at each site in town. Thank you all for support in making the day a success and bringing the great weather in for the afternoon for our open house at the Post. Great to see everyone working great together and being so flexible .
