Congratulations to our 2026 Gym Dandies Graduates!

Natalie Morgenbesser has been part of the Gym Dandies program since third grade! Her favorite memory with the group was actually what many people would consider a bad day. She says she fondly remembers "missing the flight back from Orlando, it was a surprising bonding experience with Emma and her wonderful family. It also makes for a hilarious story..."

Natalie is most proud of learning to juggle 5 balls while riding a unicycle. She says, "I think that is a pretty cool skill." When asked about an important lesson she has learned with the Gym Dandies, Natalie says, "I learned that everybody can learn how to pass. Even if somebody cannot quite juggle a 3 ball cascade yet, there are ways to teach more "advanced" patterns and still have success. I think this is really powerful you just need to be able to meet them where they are at!" She tells future Gym Dandies to "Stick with it!"

In the fall, Natalie plans on attending UC Berkeley to study Sustainable Environmental Design and Civil Engineering. We can't wait to see what you do next Natalie!

Congratulations to our Gym Dandies 2026 graduates!

Benjamin Paquette has been part of the Gym Dandies since he was in third grade! His favorite memory from being with the organization was our second trip to Universal Studios. He says, "everything about the trip was the best." He said that our first trip to Universal "was fun until I got food poisoning." He is most proud of all of his unicycle skills and being able to ride every type of unicycle including three-wheel, two-wheel, clown unicycle, and everything else in between.

When asked about lessons that Gym Dandies has taught him, Ben says, "The most important thing is that central idea that practice makes perfect. I know that that is like the most generic thing ever but the core idea that they teach kids the discipline to drop their juggling balls, pick them back up again, and then keep juggling again or how the very first thing we teach them is how to fall off a unicycle really set a mindset for the rest of the child's life that if they want to do something great it takes persistence. That lesson I believe is wired into the heads of every performing Gym Dandy and is why every graduating class has achieved so much."

Ben's advice for the younger kids in the program is, "You WILL want to quit. Don't."

Ben will be going to Emerson College in the fall to study screenwriting, but he is always welcome to come back and visit anytime. We can't wait to watch what you do next, Ben!

Congratulations to our Gym Dandies 2026 graduates!

Caleb Lyford has been part of the Gym Dandies organization for 10 years! His favorite memories with the group are the trips to Universal Studios and to the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington D.C. A lesson that Caleb has learned from his time in Gym Dandies is to "never stop chasing the dream that inspires you." Caleb is most proud of riding the two-wheeled unicycle for the past several years, which has to be pedaled backwards in order to move forward!

Caleb is going to attend Olin College of Engineering starting next fall where he will study mechanical engineering. He will be bringing with him the unicycle he designed and built using carbon fiber. His words of advice for students who are new to Gym Dandies are, "don't be afraid to try the hard things, you won't make progress if you don't go for it."

We can't wait to see what you do next, Caleb!

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 Gym Dandies!

Kelic Synnefakis has been part of the Gym Dandies program for 8 years. His favorite Gym Dandies memory is going to Universal Studios where we were the first unicycling group the park had ever featured! Kelic is most proud of learning to juggle and to ride the tall giraffe unicycles, however, you could often find Kelic zipping through the parades on the "big wheel" unicycle.

Kelic says a lesson he will hold on to from his years with Gym Dandies is that "persistence pays off," and he would like to tell younger kids in the program that it is lots of fun and you will make lots of friends. His future plans are to work and keep riding the unicycle! We will miss you Kelic! Congratulations on your graduation and come visit anytime!
