Congratulations Michael Collins, our 2023, Pearson Family Memorial Fund scholarship winner!

Michael, a 2023 graduate of Scarborough High School, will attend Southern Maine Community College this fall and major in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program to earn his Associates Degree and applicable licensing. His choice of majors aligns perfectly with the intent of the scholarship (trades) which makes him the perfect choice.

Michael is spending the summer with family and friends and working with his father at their family business, Collins & Sons Landscaping.

Dad would be, and mom is pleased with our selection. Michael will make them proud!

We were privileged and honored to present the 1st ever Pearson Family Memorial Scholarship award to a hard-working, thoughtful young man pursuing an education in horticulture at SMCC today.

Griffin Small, it was a pleasure meeting you, and we know you will honor Jim Pearson’s memory through your hard work and dedication. Make us proud! Good luck young man.
