We had the opportunity to design t-shirts for Scappoose Middle School Track and Field this spring. Every student who participated received a shirt to wear with pride, representing their team!

This year, Track & Field had an impressive turnout of over 140 athletes, along with many dedicated parent volunteers. We are immensely proud of these kids for supporting one another, showing up for their teammates, and fostering a sense of community within their group.

A huge thank you goes to Coach Nick for training this remarkable team and consistently reminding them that "Every Athlete Belongs." 💜🦬

Our 2026 Run With Neil Scholarship recipients have been selected and awarded their scholarships. This year, we are proud to honor the following seniors from Scappoose High School: R.J., Gage, and Marie. These outstanding students were nominated and chosen by our committed teachers and staff members.

We are so thankful for your generous donations and support, which enable us to offer these scholarships and assist individuals in pursuing their dreams. 🦬💜 We are proud of each of you and eagerly look forward to seeing the bright futures that await...congratulations!

A very special thank you to Kevin Pinkstaff for helping us announce our recipients year after year. Neil and Kevin had a very special bond and we are thankful for his commitment to honoring Neil every year.

One of our favorite evenings of the year - when we bring together the Scappoose High School baseball team and Scappoose JBO. This time is dedicated not only to enhancing their skills on the field but also to discussing the importance of mental health.

We are grateful to be able to share Neil's story inspiring these young athletes to focus on more than just physical training. Prioritizing their mental well-being is equally as crucial as developing their other skills.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to unwind and enjoy something fun! Whether it's having lunch with a friend, going for a walk, diving into a good book, or simply sleeping in, make sure you carve out some time for yourself- whatever brings you joy!

We loved having at our 2025 event! They did an amazing job painting the faces (and arms!) of our runners. From numbers to flowers and playful animals, their work was fantastic!

2025 has flown by and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you for your support throughout the year. We could not do this without you!
Tomorrow marks Giving Tuesday, and we humbly request your financial assistance. All donations made to Run With Neil are tax-deductible and every dollar goes directly to benefiting our youth.

Your contributions enable us to:
▪ Support local youth athletes throughout the year with equipment, tournaments and mental health resources
▪ Provide scholarships each spring to seniors in honor of Neil
▪ Assist coaches throughout the year with training opportunities
▪ Organize our annual run each fall

Yesterday was the COWAPA District Championship Cross Country meet, and Run With Neil had the opportunity to partner with and attend this event. We loved seeing all the middle school runners pushing themselves towards that finish line-proud of all of you 💜🦬
