December 16 HS Boys Basketball game starts at 6pm
December 18 HSBB *reschedule of tonight's game.

January 3 - Saturday HSBB game at 1pm
January 8 - HSBB at 6pm
January 15 - JHGBB at 4:15pm
January 23 - JHGBB at 4:15pm
January 30 - HSBB at 6pm
January 31 - HSGBB at 12pm

Hello Students, parents and community members. We are moving into our Fall/Winter concession stand season and need volunteers for several upcoming JH and HS Boys Basketball games.

*Need 1-2 volunteers for JH game Nov 11
*Need 1-2 volunteers for JH game Nov 20

** Need volunteers for several dates in December**

Most importantly are the games during the Turkey Tournament (Nov 24-29). Please look at your upcoming work schedule and sign up when you can.

Student Travelers and Student Organizations are eligible to receive a donation from the PTO in exchange for working a single game or tournament.

Dear Parents,

Our PTO concession stand plays a huge role in supporting school events, raising funds, and creating fun memories for our students — but we can’t do it without your help!

We are looking for parent volunteers to help staff the concession stand during upcoming games. It’s a great way to get involved, meet other families, and show support for our school community. Scales Mound has the privilege of hosting several tournaments and invites this year.

If you're part of an organization like 4-H, FFA, Scouts, student council, or any other club, this is a great opportunity to earn a cash donation from the PTO in exchange for your time and teamwork.

NEWS FLASH!! All you parents of kids going on the new trips, Costa Rica, Galapagos or Alaska, we want to help them fundraise!!!

ANY travel kids can sign up, on sign up genius, to work a shift in the concession stand and EARN $20 each shift!! YES we are going to PAY your student to help us!!

PLEASE have them sign up ASAP! We need help!

Few rules:
1. ONLY 2 students per shift please. Sign up genius does not allow us to regulate that so we are asking that you do so. Look who else is signed up first please and keep the student sign ups to a max of 2 per shift.
2. The student MUST work the entire shift. They can only be excused if they are singing or in pep band and must return to concession stand as soon as they are finished.
3. There is a small form in a drawer in concession stand for them to fill out. This will be used to make sure they get paid for their time. All payments will be made into their individual fundraising account in their trip account.

Scales Mound is hosting the 8th grade conference tournament this Saturday. The first game begins at 9:00am and should last until about 2:00pm. WORKERS ARE NEEDED. I know this will be a busy weekend for many families because of the holiday weekend AND Country Fair weekend, but please consider volunteering for an hour or two.

Scales Mound School is excited to host the Varsity Girls Volleyball Invite this Saturday September 21. We have one parent that has volunteered to help this Saturday.

In order for our school to be successful in attracting tournaments and other large scale events, having a fully stocked concession stand is important. The small group of PTO members work hard to stock and maintain the concession stand, but we need your participation as volunteers to keep it operational.
PLEASE take a moment to sign up to volunteer for at least one game this concession stand season and consider working a shift this Saturday.
