🧡WE NEED BROWN PAPER BAGS! 🧡

The Sayre Food Pantry is in need of brown paper grocery bags! If you have a stash of them laying around at home that you don’t need, we would be so grateful if you’d consider donating them to us. You can drop them off at the Sayre Food Pantry on Wednesday evening during pantry hours or swing them by the church during the week.

Every little donation helps us continue serving our community. Thank you for always supporting the Sayre Food Pantry!

As those of you who came through the pantry tonight are aware, we have a new application form that needs to be completed as we transition to a new online check-in system. If you filled out your application tonight, you’re all set! You will only need to complete it one time. If you weren’t with us tonight, we’ll ask you to fill one out the next time you come to the pantry!

We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone for your patience and kindness as we make this transition.

We know filling out new application forms takes a little extra time, and standing outside in the Oklahoma heat isn’t always easy. Your grace, understanding, and encouraging words have truly been a blessing to our volunteers during this time.

We are thankful that God has entrusted us with the opportunity to serve this community. Thank you for your patience, your smiles, and the kindness you’ve shown our team. We are blessed by each of you, and it is an honor to serve alongside you.

A huge THANK YOU to Damron Farms for their generous donation of fresh sweet corn for all of our families at the Sayre Food Pantry tonight! 🌽💚

We are incredibly blessed by the kindness and generosity of local businesses, farmers, churches, organizations, and individuals who continue to support our mission of serving our community. Donations like this make such a difference for the families we serve each week.

The Sayre Food Pantry would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our local Dollar General for being one of our most consistent and dedicated supporters. Through their continued donations, communication, and commitment to helping those in need, they play a vital role in helping us serve families throughout our community.

Because of partners like Dollar General, our shelves stay stocked and we are able to provide food and support to our neighbors when they need it most. Their generosity and willingness to work alongside us truly make a difference.

We want to give a HUGE thank you to our local Sayre Post Office for partnering with us for the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! We are incredibly grateful for their hard work, organization, and support in helping make this event possible.

Because of the generosity of our amazing community, we were blessed with over 1,600 pounds of food donated to help stock our food pantry! Every single donation will help families in our community who are in need, and we truly cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness and willingness to give.

To everyone who donated food, to the postal workers who helped collect and deliver it, and to all of the volunteers who helped unload the truck and put everything on the shelves - THANK YOU! We are so blessed to live in a community that continually shows love and support for one another. ❤️

We are still overwhelmed with gratitude after our 5K2FEED event!

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to every single person who made this day so special. To our runners, our generous donors, our amazing sponsors, and every volunteer who gave their time and energy… this simply would not have been possible without you.

Because of your support, we raised just over $20,000, and after expenses, right around $16,000 will go directly toward stocking our Food Pantry for the entire year. That is such an incredible blessing. Right now, we are serving around 70 families every Wednesday night, and that number continues to grow. These funds will help ensure those families are cared for and have food on their tables in the months ahead.

A huge shoutout to those who helped keep everything running safely and smoothly:
• The Fire Department
• The Police Department
• County crews for providing cones
• Oklahoma Corporation Commission for traffic control support
• First Response Coffee for keeping everyone fueled with coffee

We know there are so many others who played a part, and we are truly thankful for each and every one of you. If we missed anyone, please know your support did not go unnoticed.

Most importantly, thank you to our volunteers who worked behind the scenes to bring this event to life. Your dedication means everything.

We had a total of 108 registered runners who showed up to support this mission, and that alone speaks volumes about this community.

God is so good, and we are incredibly grateful to be part of something that brings people together to serve others.

We are already looking forward to next year and growing this event even bigger!
