Thank you to our wonderful vendors and customers at the Sayre Farmers Market. We ended the season today with 21 venous onsite and 7 food trucks not bad for the last day of the 2026 season. See you all in May

23 years ago, on September 5, 2003, the first Farmers Market was held in Howard Elmer Park. There were about 6 vendors organized by Kay Engler a Guthrie employee who had a nursery on the sheshequin road. John Sullivan of the Sullivan Century Farm in Macedonia was there with a pickup truck full of corn, Gardiners Orchard from Troy was there with apples and peaches, Kay Engler and her plants, Delectable Desserts who is still a participating vendor and a few others. Fast forward to 2026 we have 88 registered vendors and 12 food trucks and a very busy market every Friday from May to October. The market is managed by the Sayre Business Association.
