The Sayre Chapter of UNICO is focused on providing assistance to the special needs population.

The Sayre Chapter of UNICO provides financial assistance to the special needs community of the Valley. The chapter provides yearly scholarships to Valley students who are pursuing an education in a field that will benefit special needs individuals. In addition, we provide funding to Valley area schools to supplement their special needs programs. The Sayre Chapter of UNICO also provides yearly dona

tions to other Valley groups serving the special needs community including Autism Hearts, Penn York Opportunities, Aktion K.W.E.S.T., and Waverly Recreation Bowling. UNICO's objectives are to promote and enhance the Image of Italian Americans; for members to be of service to the community; to promote Italian heritage and culture; to promote, support and assist charitable, scientific, cultural, educational, and literary projects; to promote members' interest in public welfare; and, to cooperate with others in civic, social and cultural development.
