PIP Joe Wroblewski (29th Nov 1929- 2nd June 2026) was a father figure to the Lions of the world. His legacy of building leadership to sustain and grow service will always inspire us. He was a humanitarian beyond compare, and had an international mind beyond ordinary imagination. He respected traditions, yet constantly inspired change to keep Lions International the premier service club organisation. For lions like me, who came from different parts of the world, he played the role of a mentor, one who encouraged diversity in perspectives and in every other manner. His sense of humour was unmatched, and his ability to keep the lions family united was beyond what words can explain. His principles and the pathways he has established will continue to guide the Lions.

🗝️ A KEYSTONE COMMITMENT
Pennsylvania’s commitment to addressing vision loss and its impact on quality of life dates back to a 1933 amendment to the state constitution.

Today, an estimated 307,000 Pennsylvanians age 18 and older are blind or have difficulty seeing, even while wearing glasses. That’s a little more than 1 in every 50 residents statewide.

Twenty-five independent member agencies of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind (PAB) work every day to help people with vision loss build skills, access supports, and pursue their goals.

Sights for Hope is proud to be a leading PAB agency, empowering people to succeed however they see the world.

🔹 Serving the Lehigh Valley since 1928
🔹 Serving Monroe County since 2003
🔹 Part of a the PAB network, creating opportunities and strengthening communities
