In Mandan with Pegasus Illuminations and several other groups to help them put on a world record fireworks display with 2.8 million Roman candle shots at the start of it.

Mum was there for the last day of setup on New Years Eve and cleanup on New year's day.

This was a wonderful experience with a lot of new friends. Cant wait for the next chance to work with all of them again.

Another successful PGI in the books. Mum Pyro once again put on a PGI membership built display consisting of around 2100 effects, all built onsite in a week by 80 volunteers. Links to two different videos of the display. Excellent choreography by Hailee Miller and Cobra support from Jeff Jordan and James Howard of the Texas Fire Ants pyro club. It really takes a dedicated team to pull off something like this and we cannot begin to thank everyone enough for their hard work and dedication even when the weather wasn't cooperating.

PGI Seminar Signup info.

Hello everyone. The Mum Pyrotechnics team will be doing our three ball shell classes and Member Built Display during the convention. People have been asking about pre-enrollment information so here it is.

Pre-enrollment for all of our shell classes will take place on our website at www.mumpyro.com on Sunday July 21st 2024 at 6:00PM Central time. This is a first come, first serve enrollment and we will accept the first 16 people to sign up for the ball shell classes and up to 50 for the MBD. You can sign up for any ONE ball shell class AND the MBD. Each ball shell class registration can have two people register at the same time so pairs can be sure to get a spot.

These seminars involve very hands on use of live materials and as such, they are always at capacity. If you sign up for multiple classes, you will only be assigned to the one with the earliest time stamp. Any registrations that come in before 6:00PM CST will be ignored. In the past, when we've done signups via email, the 6" class is typically full by 6:01PM, the 5" by 6:05 and the 4" by 6:10. The 6:00pm signup is based on the national clock so make sure your time piece is accurate. Seriously, these registrations come down to the second! The registration page is up and running right now if you want to check it out for descriptions. Registration forms will go active Sunday morning so you can see what they look like and submissions will start being recorded at 6:00pm US CST

We are currently unsure of the status of the 2025 Member Built Display and may take that year off from doing it at the level we have been presenting at previously. It takes a tremendous amount of prep work on the Mum end of things before the convention and the logistics of moving everything we need to the convention is difficult. So, if you have wanted to be part of the display in the past or this is your first PGI convention, now is the time to get on the team.
The ball shell classes will continue in 2025 as usual.
