Update (Thurs)

Our goal is down to $3,950. PLEASE NOTE…We are committed to them regardless! I was not letting them sit in the pen for another week so they are on the way. They will be here this morning. What’s a little overtime at work right….

Any help is still greatly appreciated and I will keep this going for a couple of days to see if we can get the goal down a little.

Stay tuned to see their beautiful faces ❤️ Thank you to everyone that has helped out so far. It means to the world to me and them 🙏🏻

Update (Wed) 🙏🏻

We’re off to a great start for these seniors…our goal is down to $4,075. Thank you everyone ❤️

‼️Here we go guys…let’s get back to saving lives ‼️

These 2 seniors need a soft place to land after working all of their lives. The Belgian is a 20+ year old mare and the Percheron a 20+ year old gelding.

Please note I have personally secured their safety. If you follow Gerda’s equine rescue in VT you know they are pulling 3 horses and we are hitching a ride with their shipper, so I didn’t want to miss the pickup date (Wed/Thurs).

If anybody would like to help us out with a tax deductible donation we would greatly appreciate it.

Our goal is $4800, this will cover BOTH.

Bail-$2000
Shipping-$1800 (thank you gas prices)
Initial Vet Visit $1000.00 (vaccines, teeth, physical exam) **this will be the first initial exam with our new 💔 vet so it is only and estimate.

These 2 have worked all their lives and like hundreds of others were discarded like trash once no longer usable. It’s heartbreaking and exhausting.

They deserve a dignified, loving, safe space to live out their days.

Again I have secured their safety but any help is greatly appreciated ❤️

His dinner delivery service was a flop…people were complaining about their food being nibbled on…🙄

Let me introduce you to Leon’s Lawn Care… 👍❤️

Good morning ladies

Classic Sage…pleasant as ever 🤣

Baby Winnie is getting big she’s filled out nicely and after a small accident a couple weeks ago (not her fault at all) her boundaries are getting better (thank you flag). She really is a good girl, very loving ❤️.

We will eventually have her up for adoption. HOWEVER, with the move she hasn’t gotten 100% of the work she’s needed (given she’s a babe) so once we get back on track we’ll figure out what will suit her best. I know people have asked about her and once she’s ready I will absolutely let everyone know.

Please understand our goal is place our horses in the best situation for them. Whether they stay with us, go to a foster home, or find a forever home, there is never a rush or push to get them out. Their safety comes first.

Today was the first day I felt like I got a lot done and wasn’t as overwhelmed by the space.

So Charlie and I went for a walk…well we tried to, and then Richard came, and then Little came…and then our peaceful walk was no more…

I’m telling you…reality show come and find us 🤣❤️

But all jokes aside the fact that they all get along and can just go for a stroll tells me they’re happy and content even in a new place and that makes my heart soar🙏🏻

So Beth and I were freaked out because we heard rustling in the woods, we were certain it was a large creature preparing to eat us…then I heard it…the bell…🙄

Sound up and listen to his response at the beginning of the video 🤦🏻‍♀️
