Governor Healey's announcement today that 1 million Mass. residents could lose SNAP benefits because of the Trump Administration's refusal to pay them during the shutdown only increases the pressure on the state's food network.

Healey emphasized that about 1/3 of SNAP recipients are children and 31% have disabilities.
