Tomorrow's Pinewood 101 has been postponed out of an abundance of caution for the impending weather scheduled to hit our area and to be respectful of the donor of the space that allows us to put on this event.

The event will be held next Sunday, February 1st from 11AM to 2PM at the same location, the CU Wood Shop located at 1305 McKinley Ave, Champaign, IL 61821.

🌳🐝 Service, Stewardship, and Scouting!

Yesterday, Pack 21 Cub Scouts gave back to our host school, Carrie Busey Elementary, by planting a new Sienna Glen Maple and spreading mulch around the existing trees to help them thrive. 🌿

This service project wasn’t just about digging in the dirt—it was about making a lasting environmental impact and learning how we can care for the world around us. Scouts also got a hands-on lesson in beekeeping, thanks to a special visit from a local expert, and discovered how they can protect pollinators right in their own neighborhoods. 🌼🍯

Blast off! 🚀 Yesterday, Pack 21 launched into our space-themed Blue and Gold Celebration with stellar games, crafts, and out-of-this-world snacks!

We honored the achievements of all our Scouts and celebrated our 5th graders as they earned their Arrow of Light and crossed over to the next step of their Scouting adventure.

🚗✨ Pack 21’s 2025 Pinewood Derby… but make it GLOW! ✨🚗

Last Saturday night, we cranked up the excitement with our first-ever Glow Derby! 🌟🏁 Our scouts lit up the track—literally—decorating their cars (and themselves!) with glow paint, neon accessories, and high-energy fun. Under the black lights, the races were fast, fierce, and full of glowing smiles! 😃💡

With an ultra-competitive field and an electric atmosphere, it was a night to remember!

Several Pack 21 Scouts and families attended Scout Night at the Bloomington Bison last Saturday. They treated us to a movie in the arena with pizza and soda and we camped on the concourse!

Pack 21 Back in Action! 🚀 After a well-deserved holiday break, our Cub Scouts jumped right back into adventure! 🐾

🐺 Wolves got crafty with codes, 🦁 Lions practiced sportsmanship, 🕹 Webelos played games, 🐻 Bears (not pictured) mastered knife safety, and our 🔥 Arrow of Light scouts learned to estimate heights, time, and portions!

We’re all about fun with a purpose! Pack 21 welcomes boys and girls from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Join us Tuesdays at 6:30 PM at Carrie Busey Elementary and be part of the adventure!
