Art is powerful. Turning that creativity into a thriving business takes knowledge, strategy, and the right support.

Join Telfair Museums’ Friends of African American Arts for The Business of Art Series, beginning with Session 1: Small Business and Entrepreneurship. This conversation will explore how artists can structure their businesses, strengthen financial literacy, and build the right team to support their growth.

The evening will feature business speaker Arisa Burgest, CFO of Assurance Reconciliation Services, along with artist roundtable guests Angela Roe and Bobby Bagley, who will share real insights from their journeys in the art world.

If you're an emerging artist, a working creative, or someone interested in the business side of art, this session offers practical guidance and meaningful conversation.

🎄✨ Holidays in Motion Launches in Savannah! ✨🎄

This holiday season, Chosen For The Arts (a Savannah-based nonprofit) is proud to launch Holidays in Motion, hosted in partnership with the Tourism Leadership Council and Old Town Trolley Tours, WTOC-TV as media partners.

🚋 Festive trolleys will deliver toys, gifts, and holiday cheer directly to hospitality workforce at hotels, restaurants, and attractions across Savannah. Families not reached on trolley day will be invited to a community Christmas Party filled with joy and recognition.

💬 “Savannah’s hospitality workers are the heartbeat of our city,” said Patricia Perry, Executive Director of Chosen For The Arts. “Through Holidays in Motion, we’re making sure their families feel valued and supported during the busiest season of the year.”
