July: Sarcoma & Bone Cancer Awareness Month
July is Sarcoma & Bone Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, educate our communities, and stand in prayer and support for those impacted by these rare cancers.
Sarcoma is a rare but often aggressive form of cancer that develops in the body's connective tissues, including the bones, muscles, fat, cartilage, tendons, and blood vessels. Because early symptoms can be subtle, awareness and early detection play an important role in improving outcomes.
The awareness ribbon color for Sarcoma and Bone Cancer is yellow, symbolizing hope, strength, and the courage of every warrior, survivor, caregiver, and family affected by this disease.
Throughout the month of July, the CSM Cancer Foundation honors those who are fighting, celebrates survivors, remembers those whose lives have been lost, and continues our commitment to restoring HOPE through prayer, encouragement, financial assistance, and community support.
Together, we raise awareness. Together, we stand in faith. Together, we restore HOPE—because no one should face cancer alone.
