💔🐾 THE STORY OF 14 CATS WHO WERE LEFT BEHIND 🐾💔

This situation started with a call about 14 cats who had been abandoned inside a mobile home near St. Joe Ave., next to Taco Bandito.

According to the property owner, the people who had been living there were taken to prison, leaving the cats behind. The cats had reportedly been inside the home for around three weeks without proper food or water.

Sadly, several kittens were found deceased inside the bathtub. 💔

But there were still cats alive—scared, hungry, confused, and waiting for someone to help them.

Thankfully, there was someone who cared enough to speak up.

❤️ We want to give a huge THANK YOU to the kind lady who was hired to clean the home. When she saw what was happening, she didn’t just walk away. She contacted animal control and tried to get help for these animals.

Unfortunately, animal control was unable to assist with the situation.

That’s when M’Shoogy’s Animal Rescue stepped in. 🐾

We couldn’t leave these cats behind.

The surviving cats are now receiving the care they desperately need, but 14 animals is a lot of mouths to feed and care for. We need help providing:

🐾 Foster Homes
🐾 Food
🐾 Veterinary care
🐾 Litter and supplies
🐾 Medication and treatments when needed
🐾 Daily care and everything these cats need to recover

These cats didn’t choose to be abandoned. They didn’t choose to be left without food or water. They deserve a chance to heal, feel safe, and find loving homes.

🙏 If you can donate, share, or simply help us spread their story, it would mean so much. Every little bit helps us continue saying YES when animals have nowhere else to go.

❤️ Thank you to the kind woman who noticed them.
❤️ Thank you to everyone who helps us care for them.
❤️ And thank you to everyone who shares, donates, fosters, adopts, and gives these animals a second chance.

Together, we can give these cats the care and future they deserve.

🚨 URGENT: 2 DOGS ABANDONED & STARVING — $1,000 REWARD 🚨

These two dogs were found abandoned for approximately TWO DAYS north of Avenue City, about 10–20 miles from St. Joseph.

💔 They were left with no one to care for them and were starving. Thankfully, people in the area have been helping provide them with food until we could get involved.

Both dogs are now safe and receiving care, but we need your help finding the person responsible for abandoning and neglecting them.

⚠️ $1,000 REWARD ⚠️
We are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the prosecution of the person(s) responsible for abandoning and neglecting these dogs.

They deserved better. They deserved someone to care. Now it’s our turn to stand up for them. 💛🐶

Hi, I'm Califlower! I'm a quiet, gentle lady who is looking for a peaceful home where I can feel safe, comfortable, and loved. While I may be a little shy at first, I have a sweet nature and enjoy affection from people who are willing to give me a little time to settle in. I'm not the type of cat who demands constant attention or insists on being the center of the action. Instead, I prefer calm companionship, cozy spaces, and sharing quiet moments with the people I trust. Once I feel comfortable, you'll discover a loving companion who is happy simply being near you. A quieter home would suit me best, and I'd be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a low-key feline friend. If you're looking for a cat who offers companionship without drama and affection without demands, I might be exactly who you're looking for. Come meet me at M'Shoogy's and see if we're the perfect fit for one another.

Hi, my name is Luna. I was shot in the face by a heartless person. Luckily, and unbelievably, there were witnesses and when they saw what happened they came to my rescue. My heroes ran the shooter off before they were able to shoot again and finish the job. It’s the only reason I survived. So, when I say I’m a lucky girl, I’ve got the story to back it up. Do you need a little luck in your life? You can’t go wrong with me! Come get me so we can begin our happy-go-lucky life together!

***ADOPTED***

Hi, I’m Rocket. I was brought to M’Shoogy’s by a concerned citizen who rescued me from a really bad situation. I was tied up for so long that I got rope burns around my neck. Despite my harsh treatment, incredibly, I’m a loving and trusting dog. I believe in the good in people and even being in the hands of an evil person is not going to change me. So, my scars will heal and so will I. All I need is to be rescued once more by a loving person who can appreciate me for the good dog I am. Is that you? I hope so!

This young beautiful boy is Fred. He was hit by a car and had a broken pelvis. He is healed and ready to be adopted! He is extremely friendly and loves to play and chase toys. He gets along very well with the other cats and most likely would do good with dogs too. Come meet him tomorrow 12-4pm. Better hurry he will be quick to go!
