When a child enters foster care, they often arrive with little more than the clothes they're wearing. The Abigails members created and maintain the Emergency Clothing Closet at the Brightside office so children can choose new clothing that fits them and feels like their own.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Otis Johnson, former Mayor of the City of Savannah, to The Abigails Speaker Series earlier this year. He reminded us that real change starts with showing up at the ballot box, in every election—local and national.
