Can we take a moment to simply be thankful?
We would like to call out Rob, at Red Wing in Pooler, for sponsoring our steel-toe boots.

Without our Red Wings, we would not be able to safely do what we do! Keeping your toes, soles and ankles safe and supported may feel like a ground-level concern… but not to us! Keeping our feet safe is a huge step toward an efficient and productive site.

Is your steel-toe peeking through your toe box? (Like in photo 5) Red Wing can fix it! Rob will apply a highly durable rubber paint to extend the life of your boots (just like photo 6)

Jordan had this done a year ago, and her boots are still kickin’! (Last photo) She has worn the same pair of composite toe work sneakers for two years. “They are so comfortable and light-weight! Having this as women’s work shoe option is a nice change of pace from other shoe brands.”

Whether we are cleaning, creating or (de) constructing… we need our Red Wings!

Thank you, Rob Red Wing Shoes of Pooler
We can’t wait to see you again soon!

FUELED BY NATURE. POWERED BY COMMUNITY.
ANNOUNCING OUR 2026 FALL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
Every piece we save has a story.

A floorboard worn smooth by generations. A window that has watched Savannah change. Old-growth lumber that simply cannot be replaced.

At Re:Purpose Savannah, we believe these materials deserve another life.

Through careful deconstruction, salvage, and reuse, we keep valuable materials out of the landfill, preserve pieces of Savannah's built history, and create opportunities for people to learn and work in the trades.

But saving the materials is only part of the story.

Behind every successful project is a crew with the right tools. A truck with fuel in the tank. Equipment that's maintained and ready. A salvage yard that can receive, process, organize, and make materials available for reuse.

This fall, we're inviting you to help power them.

FUEL THE TRUCKS.
STOCK THE TOOLS.
SUPPORT THE CREW.
POWER REPURPOSE.

DONATE TODAY AND HELP FUEL RE:PURPOSE'S FUTURE

⭐️New month, new project highlight to share⭐️

Wendy and Rusty came to RPS with a short list of custom items they envisioned to polish off their home. They requested a solid beam mantel, a hearth seat and a sofa table… preferably from the same stock. “From the same stock” was the part that made selecting material interesting.

Wendy fell in love with these turn of the century beams from middle Georgia. Luckily, we had just enough for their project.

Parker was able to make the three items from two massive 20’ long heart-pine beams. Jordan designed the items in a way to utilize their whole length and prevent excessive waste of this incredible old-growth pine.

Check out how the mantel and hearth-seat look post installation - Absolutely perfect! 🥰 This is going to be the most coveted spot in the living room during the upcoming holidays! I’d want to be right next to the fire, too.

We love providing those “difficult to find” pieces for our customers.
Don’t be shy! We may have exactly what you’re dreaming of… come see us!

Finished with Rubio Monocoat USA and Varathane® products.
“Hudson Valley Co” legs for the sofa table.

Jumping on this trend 💅🏼

Come see our new and improved inventory! Same spot, same great stuff, same peeps… simply improved 🙌🏼

05/30/2026

You may have noticed some changes around the Lumber Yard… the new split-rail fence surrounding Mama Oak, inventory shuffling into new areas, plus some new (and familiar) smiling faces.

Change can be tough, but so are we! 💪🏼

The RPS Yard may be undergoing a transformation, but don’t you worry, we are motoring forwards!

Peep Shop Manager, Parker, illustrating the “motoring” we’re talking about 👏🏼

Come check out the new and improved Lumber Yard this week to see it for yourself!

⭐️Heart-pine Glow Up!⭐️

The Patterson’s found themselves in need of a few replacement floor boards for their historic home. Unfortunately, this is common in historic houses. Fortunately for us, we had what they needed! 👏🏼

The Patterson’s processed their own floor to get a “sweat equity” discount on the materials needed.
Such troopers! We love a tenacious duo 💪🏼🔨

Please flip through the pictures to see before, during and after installation photos. This pine flooring was not the prettiest to look at when we salvaged it, but after some patience, attention and sanding… just look at it now!! Literally glowing!

Thank you to the Patterson’s for sharing these images.
Additionally, thank you to all of our long-time customers, like the Pattersons, who make what we do possible.

Custom project alert ‼️
Please enjoy these photos of the Ferguson’s newest furniture pieces: two beautifully spalted Pecan tabletops, finished with Oil+2C. The bases were ordered from and fit this project perfectly.

For those who are curious, this Pecan was a log on its way to the landfill! Urban Lumber, felled trees located within a city’s limits, is an under-utilized sustainable source for local wood materials and we at Re:Purpose want to share more Urban Lumber with our fellow community members.

If you would like a piece similar to this one, please reach out to us at 912-272-0268 for more information or a price quote.
