⭐️Heart-pine Glow Up!⭐️

The Patterson’s found themselves in need of a few replacement floor boards for their historic home. Unfortunately, this is common in historic houses. Fortunately for us, we had what they needed! 👏🏼

The Patterson’s processed their own floor to get a “sweat equity” discount on the materials needed.
Such troopers! We love a tenacious duo 💪🏼🔨

Please flip through the pictures to see before, during and after installation photos. This pine flooring was not the prettiest to look at when we salvaged it, but after some patience, attention and sanding… just look at it now!! Literally glowing!

Custom project alert ‼️
Please enjoy these photos of the Ferguson’s newest furniture pieces: two beautifully spalted Pecan tabletops, finished with Oil+2C. The bases were ordered from and fit this project perfectly.

For those who are curious, this Pecan was a log on its way to the landfill! Urban Lumber, felled trees located within a city’s limits, is an under-utilized sustainable source for local wood materials and we at Re:Purpose want to share more Urban Lumber with our fellow community members.

Salvaged from Savannah Arts Academy’s basketball court, this tongue & groove maple still has refinishing life left, perfect for flooring or wall/ceiling applications.

2. True 2×4 Lumber | A large stock of actual 2” x 4” material.
Ideal for beams, shelving, countertops, flooring, or framing. Ask us about custom builds!

3. White Mortar Bricks (Pallets Available) $175/pallet | 480 bricks per pallet
Salvaged from the B&B Paint Project. Great for garden edging or walkways (non-structural).

Old Growth, New Purpose

These custom floating shelves are crafted from B&B Paint Building 2×10 beams, giving new life to beautiful old-growth heart pine. At the customer’s request, the beams were fully surfaced and finished with pure h**p oil, bringing out the rich color and natural character of the wood.

When the Huston House was lost to fire, the damage was devastating. But even in the loss of this recognized historic property, preservation is still possible.

Working in coordination with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR), our team approached the site with care, expertise, and deep respect for its history. Through responsible deconstruction and architectural salvage, we were able to recover materials that have otherwise been lost, preserving pieces of Savannah's architectural legacy for future use.

At RePurpose Savannah, we don't just reclaim materials. We protect craftsmanship, conserve resources, and honor the stories built into every structure.
