Screening you want to attend sold out? Try the standby line! Festivalgoers without tickets may try their luck and wait in the standby line to see the film. 15 minutes prior to a screening’s start time, theater staff will count the empty seats in the auditorium and sell a select amount of tickets to those in the standby line on a first-come, first-served basis. Standby lines will form approximately 60 minutes prior to a screening. Note that joining a standby line does not guarantee a ticket to the screening.

So this Maria Lawton, a friend from the MA region. Our families went to the same church at the time. We still know many of those same people.
When Maria said she had written a Portuguese cookbook a few years back, my first question to her was, ”When is your tv cooking show?”.
Well that has happened and then some. PBS has picked up/created her show(s) and has sent her to the many an island after already filming her kitchen shows. It’s been going on for the last couple of years.
Maria is warm, delightful, and approachable and she cooks food with such skill and appreciation that you want to jump into her kitchen.
She is the friend or mom you want to spend your time with.
She has a woman you can trust and love especially while hanging out on the kitchen or on a veranda or porch with some yummy deliciousness.
I encourage you to friend her on FB/IG and watch her shows when they air on PBS. It will be a enjoyable loving experience to all your senses.
